On November 18, 2013, this was my blog entry.
And, it happened, just as predicted. I was in Idaho, visiting my brother, and we saw it from his friends' house in Menan Buttes, just north of Idaho falls.
The weather was perfect. It took a while from the moment the moon started to obscure the sun until totality, but what a show.
It was worth it. I may never see anything in nature so spectacular. I'm already looking forward to the next one, in 2024.
